Brahmand ki Kahani

Brahmaand – Ek Kahaani

Brahmaand ki utpatti aaj se 13 arab saal pehley hui thi. humara saurya mandal iske mukabley sirf 4 arab saal hi purana hai. Humare brahmaand mei unginat aakashganaga hain. Yahi wajah hai ki humarey vaigyanik aisa maantey hain ki iss baat ki sambhavnayein kafi addhik hain ki prithavi jaisa grah aur bhi jaroor hongey. Iska tatparya yeh hai ki shaayad hum iss brahmaand mei Akeley nahi hain…  jeevan kahin aur bhi panap raha hai – shayad kisi aur aakashganga mei!

Waise humare saurya mandal ki baat hi kuch aur hai. Yeh ek bahut badaa saurya mandal hai jisme 8 grah maney gaye hain. Har grah ke apney upagrah hain (siway buddha aur shukra ke) aur sab ke sab surya ke chaaron ore ek seemit samay mei chakkar lagatey hain. Yeh bahut hi kamaal ki baat hai!
Har ek grah ki apni hi vividhta hai. Surya ke sabse kareeb hone ki wajah se Buddha (Mercury) sabse garam grah to hai hi, par sirf uska ek hi bhaag! Mercury ke doosarey hissey mei barf jami hai! Shukra (Venus) ko Dharti ki behen ka darjaa hassil hai kyonki iska aakar dharti ke hijaisi hai. Raat ke andhere mei shukra ko humarey aakash mei sabse chamakdaar sitarey ke roop mei dekha ja sakta hai. Dharti humarey saurya mandal ka sabse mahaan grah hai! Ab tak ke vaigyanik anusandhaan ko manaa jaye to hum ek maatra aise grah par hain, jahana jeevan ka strot hai! Yeh apney aap mei iss grah ko adwitiya shreni mei shaamil karta hai! Dharti ke baad Mangal (Mars) grah surya se chauthey sthan par uska chakkar laga raha hai. Iss laal grah ka bhi aakar dharti ke hi samaan hai aur manushya ne kayi upahgrah bheje hain iss grah ki ore, jisme bharat ka Mangalaayan yaan bhi shaamil hai! Mangalayan ka safal daura humarey desh ke liye garv ka prateek hai. Mangal ke baad aata hai iss saurya mandal ka sabse vishaal grah, Brihaspati (Jupiter). Agar baki sare grahon ko mila diya jaye, tab bhi Brihaspati grah unse dhai guna bada hoga. Brihaspati humare aakash mei shukra grah ke baad sabse tej chamakne wale sitarey ke roop mei dekha ja sakta hai. Brihaspati ke 67 chandrama hain. Brihaspati ke baad sabse jyaada chandrama (62) hain Shani (Saturn) grah ke chaaron ore. Shani grah ke Charon ore tees bahut hi Ghane dhool ke gherey hain jiski wjah se yeh grah baki sabse alagh aur khoobsoorat dikhta hai. Arun (Uranus) grah surya se door honey ki wajah se barf se Dhaka hua hai aur antariksh doorbeen se neeley rang ka prateet hota hai. Iske bhi 27 chandrama hain aur 9-10 dhool ke gherey hain. Arun ke baad aata hai saurya mandal ka aakhiri grah, Varun (Neptune). Yeh grah Arun ke jaise hi barf se Dhaka hua hai aur usasey bada bhi hai.Iske Charon ore iske chaudah chandrama chakaar lagatey hain. Manushya ne abhi tak Arun aur Varun ke paas sabse kum yaan bheje hain aur isi wajah se inke barey mei jyaada jaankari nahi hai.

Par sarey grahon se jyada mahatwapurna hai inn sabhi grahon ko ikattha rakhne wala Surya. Surya ka aakaar itna bada hai ki dharti jaise 10 laakh grah isme samaa saktey hain! Humarey saurya mandal ki shuruaat chaar arab saal pehley tab hua jab ek maha visphotak ghatna se Surya ki utpatti hui. Surya hi hur grah ke energy ka strot hai. Kaha jaata hai ki surya apni urja se kuch arab salon baad buddha, shukra aur dharti ko apne andar samaa lega. Iski aparampaar urja aur tej ki wajah se ise dharti par bhagwaan ka hi roop mana gaya hai. Aur ho bhi kyon na

Iss brahmaand aur humarey saurya mandal ka Vishay bahut bada hai, par isey hum jitney kareeb se dekhtey hain, mann karta hai ki iske barey mei aur padhein… aur jaaney.Yeh Vishay hai hi itna dilchasp!

Poem (Kavita) on Prakriti (Nature)

Poem on Prakriti (Nature)

Layi hun mai Layi hun, Prakriti ka Sandesh layi hun...
Suno Suno aye mere mitron, kuch baat sunaney aayi hun

Suraj ugtaa har roj dharti par... roshan karta har jeevan ko
Charon or vriksha hai mitron, dhoop se humey bachaaney ko

Rimjhim karti Saavan ki boondein... paavan karti dharti ko
Jungle, pahaad baney hain mitron, pralay se humey bachaney ko

Gad-gadhati aandhi, daraata toofaan... deta dastak barbaadi ko

Aaiye hum khayein kasam, na khone dengey is chamatkaar ko
Apney hi hathon se mitron, sajayengey apne iss sansaar ko

Is dharohar ki karni raksha, param kartavya humara ho
Desh ki aur dharti ki seva hi - ab humara nara ho...
Desh ki aur dharti ki seva hi - ab humara nara ho

Dhanyawad

About Liver: A speech

About Liver - Elocution

Hi,

Today I am going to talk about Liver and its importance …

A liver is a large, meaty organ that sits on the right side of the belly. It is located to the right of the stomach and over the gallbladder. We cannot feel liver from outside, as it is protected by our strong rib cage.

A liver is a soft, pinkish-brown organ which normally weighs 1.5 Kgs. It is triangular in shape and is the second largest organ in the human body. The largest organ is ofcourse, our skin. The beauty of liver is – it can regenerate! Even a 25% of liver can regenerate into a whole liver within couple of weeks! It is the only internal organ which can do that!

So why is Liver important to us? Well, Liver is responsible for production of many bio-chemicals needed by our body. It is vital because it helps in digestion, prevents Infection, produces protein and stores vitamins, minerals, sugars, glucose amongst others.

Like all parts of the body, a liver is also prone to many diseases. The most common are Infections such as hepatitis A, B, C, D & E, alcohol damage, fatty liver, cancer and few others. It can lead to allergies, migraine, indigestion & obesity, jaundice. Liver diseases can be diagnosed by liver function tests, Ultrasound etc. In case of liver failure however, liver transplantation is the only option

Now, what can we do to help preserve Liver and ensure it remains healthy? For starters, when we grow up – it is important to avoid alcohol and un-prescribed medicines as these are very dangerous for liver. Healthy eating habits and exercising regularly will keep our Liver healthy. Consuming Gooseberry, Licorice/Mulethi, turmeric, Onion, Garlic etc. is good for liver.

Let me conclude by reminding you that God made us special and hence we need to treat every part of our body as special too. There are 2 lungs, 2 kidneys – but only one Liver. We have no option but to keep it healthy and protected.

Thank You.

Bhaskaracharya - The Great Mathematician!

Bhaskaracharya - The Great Mathematician!

In 1114, was born a boy in Brahmin astrologer Mahesvara’s home at Ujjain. He was soon to redefine the rules of mathematics as it was followed then. Bhaskara, later known as Bhaskaracharya (Aacharya meant Teacher in those times), was taught mathematics and astrology by his father and went on to lead the prestigious astronomical observatory (in Ujjain) which was also the leading mathematical centre in India.

This great mathematician wrote many books. His main work “Siddhānta Shiromani” ("Crown of treatises) is divided into four parts called Lilāvati, Bijaganita, Grahaganita and Golādhyāya. These four sections deal with arithmetic, algebra, mathematics of the planets, and spheres respectively!

He reached an understanding of the number systems and solving equations which was not to be achieved in Europe for several centuries. Some of his original concepts he pioneered are:

- He almost accurately calculated the time that is required for the Earth to orbit the Sun as 365.2588 days. The modern accepted measurement is 365.2563 days, a difference of just 3.5 minutes!
- The Earth is not flat, has no support and has a power of attraction
- One day of Moon is equivalent to 15 earth-days and one night is also equivalent to 15 earth-days.
- He conceived the convention that when a finite number is divided by zero, the result is infinity.
- He was the first to create a wheel that he claimed would run forever (A perpetual motion machine). This was famously called Bhaskara wheel
- He anticipated the modern convention of signs (i.e. minus by minus makes plus, minus by plus makes minus)
- Defined concepts around Trigonometry, algebra, calculus etc much before pioneers like Newton or Rolle were born.

After he died in 1185, an educational institution was set up, in 1207, by his son to study Bhaskaracharya's works. A medieval inscription there reads:-
"Triumphant is the illustrious Bhaskaracharya whose feats are revered by both the wise and the learned. A poet endowed with fame and religious merit, he is like the crest on a peacock."
